PHF will give Central Contracts to players as financial assistance

LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will give Central Contracts to 20 national players which will be a step forward to help them financially. 

According to the details, PHF’s president Brigadier(R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar had decided to give monthly stipends to national players through central contracts. As many as 20 players out of the top 30 senior and junior players will be shortlisted for central contracts.

The selection committee’s chairman Olympian Manzoor Jr and the national team’s head coach Olympian Khawaja Junaid have been directed to shortlist players within three days on the basis of their fitness, skill level, and performance.

Players will get central contracts in A, B, C categories. A-category player will get Rs 50,000 monthly, B-category player will get Rs 40,000, and C-category player will get Rs 30,000.
