Haris Sohail’s inclusion has made batting much stronger: Babar Azam

Karachi: Pakistan team captain Babar Azam is happy over the inclusion of batter Haris Sohail in the ODI team for the series against England.

The 26-year-old Babar previewed Green Shirts’ tour of England and is confident of winning the series against the World Champions.

“Our ODI team was settled but there is also a room of one or two changes as per team requirements. We have brought Haris Sohail back, we have Saud Shakeel and it will make our batting stronger. We were struggling in middle-order a bit and his [Haris] inclusion will help us a lot,” he said in the 33rd episode of PCB podcast.

“I am looking forward to the series as we are coming with momentum by winning the series against South Africa. We have always played good cricket in England as the wickets suit us and have always given them a tough time,” he added.

Babar once again reiterated that it is an honor to lead Pakistan in all three formats. “I am enjoying and it feels good to lead the country in all formats. As a player, you approach to your goals but when responsibility ponders upon, you look to see it with a different perspective,” he added.
