KARACHI: South Africa’s chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi gave clarification on his shoe dialing celebration during the first T20I against Pakistan.
Taking to Twitter, Shamsi said show phone celebration wasn’t for disrespecting anyone. “The shoe phone celebration is just a fun thing I’ve done over the years and means no disrespect to the opposition,” he wrote.
Really disappointed to be on the wrong side of the result today but congrats to @MHafeez22 for getting your 100th T20i cap today
Great achievement bhai ?

It is pertinent to mention here that Shamsi was trolled on social media after he celebrated taking wicket in his show dialing style twice during the first T20I in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, he also congratulated Mohammad Hafeez on playing his 100th T20I for Pakistan. “Really disappointed to be on the wrong side of the result today but congrats to Hafeez for getting your 100th T20I cap today. Great achievement Bhai,” he penned.
