Veteran ruckman Todd Goldstein will leave North Melbourne after a stellar 17-year career at the club.
After discussions with the Kangaroos, Goldstein conceded that it was "probably time for the club to have a clean break", with youngster Tristan Xerri expected to log more ruck minutes next season.
"It's been a really tough decision," the 35-year-old ruckman said.

"I've been talking to my manager and my family about what's going to be best for us going forward … and I think that's to look for other opportunities elsewhere."
His career at North Melbourne included winning a Syd Barker best and fairest in 2015, the same year he was named in the All-Australian team.
Goldstein has also notched up the most hit outs in VFL/AFL history.
Kangaroos football boss Todd Viney praised the veteran and thanked him for his ongoing service.
"Goldy has been a loyal and decorated servant of the club so it's naturally sad to see him go," Viney said.
Viney also admitted it would be "strange" to see the ruckman donning a new club strip in 2024.

"It's a credit to him that he has been able to play over 300 games at the one club and it'll be strange to see him in different colours," Viney said.
Goldstein's departure comes after long-time Kangaroos teammates Jack Ziebell, Ben Cunnington and Aaron Hall all hung up the boots at the end of the 2023 season.
The ruckman is now an unrestricted free agent, so he will be able to reach his chosen club without having to be traded.
Goldstein has been heavily linked with a move to Essendon, where he could potentially link up with former Kangaroos coach Brad Scott.
