‘Fawad’s struggle story is great’ Ramiz Raja

Karachi: Cricketer-turned-commentator Ramiz Raja said Fawad Alam’s determination is a great example for others that there is always a window open for the one who keeps working hard.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Pakistan vs South Africa – first test, the former cricketer said Fawad proved himself exceptionally and took Pakistan into a strong position by making the most of his home conditions.

“It was a great inning, making the first appearance at home ground and scoring crucial runs for the team was exceptional from Fawad,” he said.

“See, he worked hard and his struggle story is very great. He never gave up and is an example that there is always a window open for everyone. If you remember, Roger Federer lost number one ranking but he didn’t take retirement but kept playing. Same is with Fawad, now see he is here,” he maintained.

It must be noted here that Fawad scored his third Test century, scoring 109 runs and helping his team to gain 158-runs lead.
