NRL superstar's bombshell code switch

NRL superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is reportedly set to quit rugby league at the end of the 2021 season and make a bombshell code switch to play rugby.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the 2018 Dally M winner will play Super Rugby for the Blues as the NZ Warriors fullback chases a dream of playing for the All Blacks at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a code switch before and while nothing is officially signed, the Telegraph reported that Warriors officials are "privately resigned" to his departure after months of "secret negotiations."

The Warriors captain recently told the club website about the toll living away from his family in Australia had taken last year due to COVID-19.

"It's definitely a lot easier this time around because it's planned," Tuivasa-Sheck said.

"That's probably the best part, there's a bit more plan to it.

"My family will be here in February when we make our second move into our next place."
