‘With government’s permission, will try to bring crowd in PSL 6’ Ehsan Mani

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman Ehsan Mani said they will try to bring a limited crowd during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 after consulting with the government.

Speaking during the PSL 6 Draft here on Sunday, Mani said they have missed fans during PSL 5 playoffs in Karachi and they really want to bring a crowd this time around.

“PSL 5 Playoffs took place in very tough times and we couldn’t allow crowd in the stadium. All of us missed them as they are the real support and strength to the PSL,” he highlighted.

“We will consult to the government in this matter and with their permission, we will try to bring crowd during PSL 6,” he said.

It must be noted here that all six teams picked their squad for the upcoming season of the PSL. The extravaganza is scheduled to start on February 20 with defending champions Karachi Kings taking on Quetta Gladiators in the first contest.
