Lahore: Pakistan men’s team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis will appear before the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) cricket committee on January 12.
PCB CEO Wasim Khan on the sidelines of the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) season six draft said that the meeting will review the ongoing cricket season too.
“Misbah and Waqar will present in front of the cricket committee and their yearly performances will be reviewed,” Wasim said.
Meanwhile, Wasim revealed that the selection committee’s meeting will take place on Thursday or Friday. The Men in Green are scheduled to play two Tests and three T20Is against South Africa, who will arrive in Pakistan on January 16.
It must be noted that Misbah and Waqar’s position as coaches is under threat after the national team’s miserable performance in New Zealand
