Wallabies star's wife's selfless game day delivery

Marika Koroibete's wife told him to focus on playing for the Wallabies while she got on with the business of delivering the couple a child.

Koroibete posted a touching tribute to wife Emma on Instagram after starring in Australia's thrilling 23-21 first Test win over France in Brisbane on Wednesday night.

"How lucky I am to have strong wife like you to endure the pain and all the labour stuff by yourself," the winger wrote.

"I asked you if you want me to come and be with you and you said its okay after the game then you come.

"I'm super proud of you how you handle the labour hrs on your own thank you Covid for closing the boarders otherwise will bring our parents over.

"Anyway we want welcome baby boy Immanuel Lester Koroibete to this world, thank you luvequ for cooperate with nene during labour hrs and I'm thankful that you and nene are well."

Koroibete's post received plenty of love from fellow rugby stars including his Wallabies teammates Matt To'omua, Hunter Paisami and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

To'omua congratulated the happy couple before giving Koroibete some cheeky instructions to "stay on your wing."

The Wallabies and France are now preparing for the second Test in Melbourne on Tuesday.
