Pakistan to play two practice games ahead of England ODIs

Derby: Pakistan men’s cricket team will play two inter-squad practice games ahead of the three-match ODI series against England, starting from July 8.

According to details, Pakistan will start training in Derby from tomorrow. The side is currently in isolation for three days.

The results of the first COVID-19 test on arrival in Derby have returned negative. The second testing will take place today.

The two practice games will take place on July 1 and 3 respectively. The side will leave for Cardiff on July 6 where they are scheduled to play first ODI.

Remember, Green Shirts reached Birmingham on Friday via a chartered plane from Lahore. England will host Pakistan for three ODIs and as many T20Is. After the conclusion of the series, Pakistan will leave for the Caribbean on July 21.
