PSL’s manager boarded in chartered flight with Pakistan team for ‘Holidays’ in UK

Karachi: Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) head of cricket operations Usman Wahla used his influence and travel with the Pakistan men’s cricket team on chartered flight for the United Kingdom, ARY Sports reported.

According to sources, Usman replaced ex-batting coach Younis Khan, who resigned before the tour as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to keep 37 people in the bio-secure bubble.

Wahla will now quarantine with the team in Derby and after completion, he will leave the bubble and go on holidays.

The selection committee was in favor of sending Shahnawaz Dahani but due to Wahla’s influence, it was not possible. By doing this, Wahla has saved money on ticket and hotel quarantine.
