Broadcasting issue solved, ENGvPAK series to telecast: Fawad Chaudhry

Karachi: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry announced the upcoming Pakistan-England cricket series will be broadcasted in the country.

Fawad wrote on Twitter that the government has found a solution of broadcasting the series while congratulating Multan Sultans on winning the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six title.

Congratulations to Multan Sultans on becoming the new champions, thanks to Rizwan, Babar Azam, Pakistani heroes as well as all the foreign heroes who decorated this wonderful cricket festival,” he tweeted.

“Let me also reveal that we have solved the problem of broadcasting the Pakistan-England cricket series too,” he added.

Earlier this month, Fawad said that the Federal Cabinet had decided to avoid doing any sort of business with Indian companies and they have rejected PTV’s request to sign a deal with an Indian broadcasting company that has the rights to telecast Pakistan vs England series in South Asia.

It must be noted that earlier today, Green Shirts left for the tour of England via a chartered plane from Lahore.
