Cardiff: England’s all-rounder Sam Curran showcased his brilliant football skills during the second T20I of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of England.
The 23-year-old Curran on the third ball of the second over of Sri Lanka’s innings stunned the cricketing world when opener batsman Avishka Fernando (6) dabbed a delivery to sneak a run off Curran’s delivery.
Danushka Gunathilaka also pushed to take a single from the non-striker’s end, however, it was at the same time that Curran also ran towards the ball to find Gunathilaka short of his crease at the striker’s end.
He didn’t waste his time in picking the ball with his hand and throwing it to the stumps, he opted to kick the ball only to find Gunathilaka going back to the pavilion.
