Here’s why Younis Khan resigned from batting coach’s position

Lahore: Younis Khan stepped down as batting coach of the Pakistan men’s team earlier today and there were several reasons behind this, ARY Sports reported.

According to sources, Younis had reservations over the interference of other coaches in the national team.

Younis left the ongoing NHPC camp in Lahore where 26 cricketers are participating. Younis was unhappy with why NHPC coaches were interfering in camp ahead of the England tour.

Younis was told that the camp is in NHPC, therefore, coaches will also assist during the camp. He also refused to come from Karachi when PCB called him to join bio-secure bubble for tour of England.

He also had objections over the selection of the national side, therefore, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the former captain had to part ways.
