NRL considers Roosters bubble amid COVID outbreak

Roosters players could be forced back into a strict biosecurity bubble after the latest Sydney COVID outbreak, which has the eastern suburbs on high alert.

Nine News' Danny Weidler reports that the NRL is considering stage three restrictions, which would prevent them from using public transport and visiting cafes. They would also have to wear masks at indoor venues.

The NRL will consult with biosecurity experts this morning before making its decision.

The Roosters play the Panthers in a Round 15 blockbuster at BlueBet Stadium tomorrow night.
