Eels superstar Mitchell Moses went head-to-head with his captain Clint Gutherson as the pair became embroiled in a fiery on-field clash in Parramatta's 42-10 win over the Tigers.
With the result all but over, Moses and Gutherson were caught exchanging some strong words after the Eels had won a penalty while leading 32-6.
Gutherson stood with the ball in-hand near referee Grant Atkins as the Tigers weighed up taking a captain's challenge.
That saw Moses sprint up to his skipper, barking at him to play the quick tap and shift the ball across the field.
It came to a head when neither man backed down.
"Gutho, quick, Gutho, f— off" Moses said as he pointed to the area he wanted to attack instead of taking the kick for two-points.
Gutherson shielded the ball away from Moses, keeping it behind his back as he tried to quell his halfback by pushing him gently away.
The decision eventually went to a review for the Tigers which was unsuccessful.
"I like that from Mitchell Moses he's the halfback of the team," former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan said in commentary for Fox Sports.
"They're in a good ball zone and he wants to take control. I love that."
