Dylan Alcott has continued his reign of dominance in the men's quad wheelchair singles circuit, taking out his third consecutive Roland-Garros title.
The Australian star claimed his 13th career Grand Slam title with a 6-4 6-2 win over 21-year-old Dutchman Sam Schroder.
While he claimed a straight-sets win, Alcott certainly did not have it all his own way during the match, having to claw back from a 1-3 deficit in the opening set.
Alcott's win over Schroder came in a repeat of this year's Australian Open final, where he easily dispatched the Dutchman in a 6-1 6-0 win.
Following his win, Alcott congratulated Schroder for his performance, backing the youngster to eventually claim his own Grand Slam titles.
"Mate, you played really well today," he said.
"We went down in the doubles, but we played in the Australian Open final as well and it was a different match.
"You came out today and played so well, brother, and I'm sure you'll be winning a few of these big ones in no time, so congrats."
Alcott also thanked the tournament organisers, admitting that he didn't know how much longer he had left at the top of the game.
"To Roland-Garros, thanks for supporting us, thanks for having court tennis here," he said.
"I don't know how many more I've got left in me, so every time I come on this court I feel really blessed to be here."
