Lahore: Former Test cricketer Ramiz Raja said South Africa’s tour to Pakistan will benefit the country from several perspectives.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Raja said South Africa is one of the biggest cricket teams around the world and their tour to Pakistan will be a huge development for the country.
“It is the biggest news for Pakistan as we all were waiting for a big team to tour Pakistan,” he said.
“South Africa is one of the biggest cricket teams around the world and their tour to Pakistan will definitely give confidence to other countries that Pakistan is safe not only for cricket but from the business point of view too,” he added.
It must be noted here that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed South Africa will tour Pakistan in January to play three T20Is and two Tests. Karachi and Rawalpindi will host a Test each while Lahore will host all three T20Is.
