Bangladesh rises on top of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League

KARACHI: Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka in the second ODI to rise at number one rank on ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League standings. 

Bangladesh won five matches out of eight they have played so far in the league. With 50 points, they are now toppers of the table.

England is standing in the second position with 40 points whereas Pakistan is standing at the third spot with equal points with slightly less run-rate than England.

Australia (40) and New Zealand (30) are at 4th and fifth position. India is at number eight with 29 points.

It must be noted here that India (hosts) alongside seven other top teams from ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League will directly qualify for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The remaining five teams will play qualifiers.
