‘Milte hain ground mai’ Amir, Sharjeel excited for PSL 6 challenge

KARACHI: Defending Champions Karachi Kings’ pacer Mohammad Amir and opener Sharjeel Khan are excited to take up the challenge in the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.

PSL 6’s remainder is most likely to be played from the first week of June in Abu Dhabi. The revised schedule of the event is on hold as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is waiting for visas of South African and Indian members of the broadcasting team.

Meanwhile, in a video message, Amir and Sharjeel expressed their excitement for the mega event.

“Get ready as PSL 6 is about to start in a short while. We will miss playing in Pakistan but it is good to see cricket coming back. Meet you in the ground now,” Amir said.

Sharjeel said, “Karachi Kings is ready, you also get ready for enthralling PSL 6. Now, we will meet in Abu Dhabi with PSL 6 show.”

It must be noted here that PSL 6 was shifted to Abu Dhabi after National Control and Command Operation (NCOC) opposed the decision to host the event in Karachi due to the COVID-19 surge.
