Parramatta young gun Jakob Arthur, the son of coach Brad Arthur, scored for the Eels in a dream debut as the club defeated the Warriors 34-18 during the NRL's Magic Round.
Arthur, 18, was forced to make an early debut for Parramatta following the suspension to playmaker Dylan Brown. He was thrust into the squad despite not training with Eels' playing group all week due to the NRL's COVID protocols.
Playing at five-eighth, the young playmaker finished the match with a try assist, while also crossing over for the match-sealer as his dad watched on in the coach's box.
The Eels coach was full of emotion, with cameras catching the moment he watched his son cross over.
"That's a special, special feeling," Broncos great Corey Parker said on Fox League,
"We spoke to Brad Arthur during the week and before the game, and he showed his emotion about his son playing.
"He's had a solid game and he's crossed the strip in what will seal victory for the Eels.
"That's what rugby league is all about. He will remember this for a long time."
The young playmaker said his NRL debut couldn't have been scripted any better.
"It's a dream come true and I'm so grateful for the opportunity," Arthur said after the match.
"I can't put it into words. You dream about those things, it's unreal it happened."
