West Coast Eagles recruit Zac Langdon has been involved in an "inadvertent breach" of Western Australia's quarantine protocols following the delivery of treadmill.
Langdon, 25, was traded by the Giants earlier this month in exchange for pick 54 from the Eagles.
The club confirmed in a statement on Friday that they had issued Langdon, who is currently quarantining in Perth, with a treadmill which had was carried through to an outdoor patio area by the delivery company after passing through the small forward's residence.
Langdon was forced to undergo a COVID-19 test but was given the all-clear.
"The club arranged for a treadmill to be delivered to the Perth property in which recruit Zac Langdon is isolating," the club statement read.
"The treadmill was unfortunately carried through Langdon's residence to an outdoor patio area by the delivery company.
"Langdon has subsequently been tested and found to be COVID-free. The delivery personnel also isolated, but were cleared to resume work.
"The club apologises to the state for this accidental transgression."
