‘England will visit Pakistan for Test cricket’ tells Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry shared that England will come to Pakistan to play Test cricket next year. 

The minister met the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner on Friday. In their meeting, cricket came into discussion and they both discussed England’s upcoming tour to Pakistan for shorter format series.

Taking to Twitter after the meeting, Fawad shared that after the shorter format series, England will come to play Tests in Pakistan.

“Lovely meeting my friend ⁦Christian Turner.⁩ Extremely delighted to know that after the gap of sixteen years, in October this year English Cricket Team will be visiting Pakistan and next year again for a full test series. We have come a long way from the devastating attack on the Sri Lankan team,” he wrote. 

It must be noted here that England will come to Pakistan in October this year to play two T20Is on the 14th and 15th of the month. According to the confirmed schedule released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), England will arrive in Karachi on October 12, and both sides will depart for India on 16 October for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the end of the series.
