KARACHI: Shoaib Akhtar shared that he had to prove himself after bowling the fastest delivery in the world’s cricket touching the 161kmph mark.
While replying to a throwback post on Twitter, Akhtar wrote he was told that the machine, which recorded his pace, wasn’t up to the mark.
“Baad Main Keh Rahay Thay Machine Theek Nahi Hai. Phir Dobara Kerna Para Tha Aglay Saal,” he wrote.

It must be noted here that Akhtar is still considered one of the fastest pacers in cricket history. In 2002, the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ bowled at a pace of 100mph (161kmph) against England during an ODI. The delivery is still the fastest and the cricket world is waiting for any bowler to break this record.
