KARACHI: Shoaib Malik reacted to Pakistan’s humiliating defeat at the hands of minnows Zimbabwe and suggested bringing a foreign coach.
While reacting to Pakistan’s loss on Twitter, Malik said Pakistan needs a foreign coach who understands the game better.
“Unacquainted decision-makers need to take a step back; Babar & chief selector need to call the shots. In my opinion, we need an international white-ball coach who understands cricket inside out & grooms our captain whilst giving clarity to our players for coming time,” he wrote.
Pakistan lost to Zimbabwe by 19 runs in a 119-runs chase. The batting line of green shirts failed completely with only Babar Azam and only Babar Azam and Danish Aziz having resisted a bit with their scores of 45 and 22 respectively.
