Lions star Courtney Hodder has scored a sensational soccer-like goal to ignite Brisbane's AFLW grand final clash against the Adelaide Crows.
In a frenzied, helter-skelter start, the Crows got ahead early to lead the Lions by a goal early in the second quarter.
But making something out of nothing, Hodder drew the Lions level at 12-12 when she chased down a bomb past the edge of the box and somehow wrapped her right leg around the ball and her defender to boot it goalward.
It was her second major of the afternoon and a crucial one at that, given it broke up a dangerous run of Adelaide play.
The unbelievable moment had the Lions back in the match and leading by half-time.
