Hambantota: Middle-order young batsman Azam Khan followed Shahid Afridi’s footsteps to score quickfire fifty runs off 20 balls for Galle Gladiators against Dambulla Viiking in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL).
Taking charge of the opponent’s bowlers, Khan struck the ball all around the park taking seven fours and three sixes in his account to score total of 55 runs off 24 balls.

Earlier, Afridi similarly smashed a half-century off just 20 balls for the same team to mark grand entry in the opening season of LPL. The swashbuckling knock was highly praised at the world level.
