Radio commentary of one of the most famous Cricket innings of all time: Australian Don Bradman’s last innings at The Oval 14th August 1948

At that stage, Bradman had scored 6996 runs and been dismissed 69 times in a Test career going back to 1928.

He only needed to score 4 more runs in this last innings to average 100 runs, about 40 more than the next best in history.

But it was not to be and he was bowled out for 0, leaving him with an average of 99.94, the most famous of all cricket statistics.
