Socceroo's early cracker stuns European giants

Aussie Socceroo Tom Rogic scored an early ripper in the Europa League this morning to put Italian giants AC Milan on the back foot early.

The Aussie's opener came as cool as you like when he pounced on a defensive error by Rade Krunic who failed to control a pass from his keeper, and slotted perfectly into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

The seventh minute goal stunned the European heavyweights, and their night was about to get a whole lot worse just moments later.

Osdonne Edouard would find the net in the 14th minute to have Milan trailing 2-0 within the opening minutes at the San Siro.

Unfortunately for the Scottish outfit, it wasn't enough to stave off a sensational comeback as AC clawed their way to a 4-2 win by the final whistle.

It sees a golden opportunity to see themselves out of last place in Group H go begging as Milan closed the gap on group leaders Lille by a point.
