Lindsey Vonn
Not even three months after her crash at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games that nearly resulted in a leg amputation, Lindsey Vonn arrived at the Met Gala.
Wearing a Thom Browne piece designed to mimic the centuries-old statues that line the museum, Vonn told Vogue ahead of the event that the Met Gala would be a sort of "coming-out party" for her following the accident.

"I get to be around people, wearing a dress that's beautiful and feminine, and put my crutches down for the first time."
Alysa Liu
Olympian Alysa Liu was serving punk-rock meets princess on the Met Gala stairs.
The figure skater made her debut at the event wearing a burgundy, custom Louis Vuitton gown, just hours after being named the latest house ambassador for the designer.

Paige Bueckers
It shouldn't come as a shock that WNBA star Paige Bueckers also made her Met Gala debut; she has become somewhat of a fashion icon after all.
The 24-year-old walked the red carpet in a black, graffiti ensemble, which was reportedly a custom piece by Coach.

Serena Williams
Tennis star Serena Williams is no stranger to the Met Gala, even serving as co-chair for the event back in 2019.
This year, she wore a custom Marc Jacobs look designed to be a modern take on Grecian design.
The metallic silver gown was adorned with gold leaf accents and paired with a pair of golden Italian leather heels.

And while she tends to steal the show, this year Serena attended the event as a show of support for her sister, Venus Williams.
Venus Williams
Venus Williams served as one of the co-chairs at this year's event, and she made sure not to disappoint when it came to her look.
She arrived at the event in a shimmering black gown with a statement silver necklace draped across her shoulders.

Naomi Osaka
Fans of the Met Gala were thrilled to see fashionista Naomi Osaka make her return.
The tennis player has previously referred to the event as the "grand-slam of fashion," and judging by her look, she meant it.
She wore a custom two-piece set by Robert Wun, with whom she's previously collaborated for a custom Nike x Robert Wun tennis kit during the 2026 Australian Open.

Her look for this year's Met Gala featured a gown with over 659,000 stitches of embroidery, which she explained took more than 3,280 hours of handiwork.
Joe Burrow
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made an appearance at the event, stepping out in a two-piece blue suit with a stylish trim.

Eileen Gu
Olympian Eileen Gu looked breathtaking as she stepped out in a literal bubble mini-dress by Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen.

Dwyane Wade
Former Basketball star Dwyane Wade attended the event with his wife, Gabrielle Union.
The pair didn't shy away from some PDA, with Wade wearing black pants with a tuxedo-style vest.

Steph Curry
Steph Curry stepped out at the Met arm-in-arm with his wife, Ayesha Curry, as the pair donned matching black looks.
"On one hand, I love it. On the other hand, that means I'm not playing basketball right now," he told E! on the red carpet.

"It's fun to have a different crew and crowd of guys that I compete against showing themselves in the fashion world. It's amazing."
