Ali Sadpara Amusement park inaugurated by Sindh government

KARACHI: An amusement park here in Korangi named after Pakistani mountaineer late Mohammad Ali Sadpara has been inaugurated by Advisor to Chief Minister of Sindh on Law, Anti-Corruption Establishment – Murtaza Wahab.

Taking to Twitter, Wahab disclosed that the park has been inaugurated and opened now for the common public and especially the community of Gilgit Colony.

It must be noted here that Sadpara had climbed eight out of the world’s 14 highest peaks. This was his second attempt to climb K2 in winter along with his team members including his son Sajid Sadpara, Iceland’s John Snorri, and Chile’s MP Mohr.

Sajid had returned to the base camp from 8,000m after suffering from breathing issues but Ali, Snorri, and Mohr continued the summit. Sajid claimed that his father and team completed the summit and went missing on their return.

Pakistan Army held several operations to find the missing mountaineers but didn’t find any traces.
