Dragons young gun Loko Pasifiki Tonga has been rushed to hospital by ambulance with a suspected neck injury aftr an incident at the team's training centre on Thursday afternoon.
Pasifiki Tonga left the field in a neck brace with members of staff captured in a photo gathered around the ambulance as he was moved, using a stretcher, into the vehicle.
The photo was published on X.
The Dragons confirmed that he was taken to hospital for precautionary scans.
"He was conscious and communicating with medical staff at all times," the club said.
"The club will provide an update on his condition once further information becomes available."
The Dragons did not provide details on how Pasifiki Tonga was injured.
The 20-year-old was named on the extended bench for the side's upcoming round three battle against the Parramatta Eels on Sunday afternoon.
