Iowa State recently cut their women’s gymnastics program due to conflicts within their program. This was done after the gymnasts spoke out about feeling unsafe and unprepared for meets, and instead of resolving the conflict, they were shut down. This is not an isolated incident, and is part of a larger pattern of behavior regarding gymnastics that the Athletic Director Jamie Pollard has exhibited.
