James Hird believes Hawthorn has correctly dealt with the off-season mistakes made by Dylan Moore and Connor Macdonald, after the pair landed themselves in custody in the United States.
It had been a relatively quiet off-season for the Hawks before it was revealed tonight that Moore and Macdonald were arrested in Arizona in November.
It's understood the pair are facing charges for alleged trespassing.

AFL.com.au reporter Cal Twomey said on Nine's Footy Classified that Hawthorn expect the pair will front a US court via video in July or August.
In the meantime, the club has fined the pair and given them community service duties.
Moore opened up about his arrest during the Hawks' pre-season training camp, telling Seven that his actions had cost him the role as vice captain.
The 26-year-old said he had been "out and having a few drinks" when he decided to get on a scissor lift.
Moore was quickly met by the voices of local police who informed him to get off the scissor lift and then took him into custody.
"It's something that I'll always regret," Moore said.
"A foolish mistake has led to a night in a jail cell and many regrets."
There was initially a charge related to drug paraphernalia, but Moore said that had been dismissed.
He said it had been "tough" to call home to reveal what had happened and that he was "disappointed" that he let down Hawks coach Sam Mitchell.
Hird and Dermott Brereton were not worried by Moore or Macdonald's actions.
"It is embarrassing for Dylan Moore and his family, but really he hasn't harmed anyone," Hird said on Nine's Footy Classified.
"He has done something silly and apologised, gotten on with the season. But it does expose to players in the ranks, if they go out and do silly things they will be under the spotlight."
Brereton added: "Young men continue to be idiots. I was part of it back in my day, we just do stupid things. You make stupid decision.
"It seems like the Hawks have dealt with it in their own way. They've said, 'yep, let's move along'."

Hird said the pair will be eager to get Friday's game against Essendon done with.
"The bounce of the ball against Essendon can't come quickly enough," he said.
"I think the Hawks have gone about it the right way.
"He made a silly error, he has paid the fine and the embarrassment for his family."
Hawthorn chief executive Ash Klein recognised the poor behaviour of the club's talent and insisted that Moore had "learned from this".
Essendon will host the Hawks at the MCG on Friday.
