Controversial UFC fighter Colby Covington is once again turning heads for the wrong reasons, after making sexual comments about a fellow fighter on a podcast.
Covington, 33, who is the number one welterweight contender in the world, was recently on Australian MMA podcast Submission Radio when asked if he had been offered a fight against fellow American Leon Edwards.
"There wasn't much talks. I was balls deep in Polyana Viana, so to get me off the couch on three weeks notice to fight some Leon (Edwards) guy, it was going to be a price tag," Covington said.
The pair had posed together a few weeks earlier for a photo which Covington posted on his Instagram account.

When asked if they were an item, Covington was slightly coy.
"Everybody's going to have to use their imagination on that one. I'm not claiming to be her boyfriend, but what's up with titles these days? Why does there have to be a title? Why can't two adults just have fun together?"
Viana, for her part, said on social media that she had never done anything to incite comments about her personal life.

"I feel sorry for those who act so low to try to promote themselves," she wrote on Twitter.
When asked about the photo, she said they were "just friends" and that "I already have a boyfriend."
"It is revolting," she added.
The 28-year-old Brazilian strawweight was on a three-fight losing streak in the UFC before victories in each of her last two fights, including a win last month at UFC 258.
It is not the first time this year that UFC has had to deal with a male fighter making sexual comments about a female colleague.
At the start of the year, Casey Kenney was asked on a podcast with fellow fighter Sean O'Malley if he would 'smash' Australian featherweight Megan Anderson.
"She's not too … well, I mean, if it came down to it, and it was like 5am, 4, she's a 5am-er, 4am-er. Just us two hanging out, like, 'f–k it, let's do it.'"
Anderson publicly shamed the comments, calling Kenney out on Twitter.

No action was taken by the UFC against Kenney, who later issued a half-hearted apology, saying "I'm sorry if this upset you."
