Karachi: Professional boxer Muhammad Waseem has revealed that he was offered to fix the WBC silver world title fight in 2016.

The 33-year-old was further offered to fix two fights held in Korea and Thailand respectively. Waseem further revealed that once again fixers are contacting him to lose the world title fight deliberately.

“I turned down an offer of fixing of one million pounds from a neighboring country. In 2016, I successfully defended WBC silver belt champion,” Waseem talked exclusively to this correspondent.

“Once again I’m being offered to fix my upcoming world title fight. I can’t even think of doing that. I’ll smack the same punch to fixers which I use for knocking out my rival ” he added.

It must be noted that Waseem has won 11 out of 12 professional bouts. He recently defeated Philipines’ Jenny Boy Boca via Technical Knockout (TKO).
