‘Confident for strong comeback’ centurian Fakhar Zaman

LAHORE: Left-handed opener Fakhar Zaman scored century in a practice match on Monday and it gave him immense confidence ahead of the white-ball South Africa tour.

Speaking after a shining performance, Zaman said the South Africa tour will be tough for the green shirts as always but they will prepare themselves strongly for the event.

“It will be a tough tour for us. But we are preparing ourselves according to the situation. We will try to go from strength to strength against the Proteas,” he said.

“This tour is important for me as I am making my comeback in ODIs. Today’s inning has given me a lot of confidence and I will try to carry it in South Africa,” he added.

Zaman narrated the training camp’s scenario and said players and team management are working together progressively.

“This camp is helping us a lot. Our goal is to make a strong combination ahead of departure. Today we played a practice match and both teams were good enough to compete,” he concluded.
