Hasan’s participation in SA series linked with two COVID-19 Tests on March 24

Lahore: Pacer Hasan Ali, who last week tested positive for COVID-19, has now returned two negative Tests, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement.

The 26-year-old Hasan will enter the bio-secure bubble on 23 March where he will remain in isolation for 24 hours. He will undergo two further tests on 24 March.

If the results of both the tests are negative, then he will be allowed to integrate with the side and cleared to travel to Johannesburg on 26 March.

Meanwhile, all the remaining 34 members of the side, presently attending a training camp in Lahore, cleared their third Covid-19 tests conducted on 21 March. Their final tests will be conducted on 24 March.

Remember, Hasan was first tested positive for the virus during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6. He was again returned positive on March 17 during the first round of testing for the Africa tour.

Hasan had been named in all three formats for South Africa and Zimbabwe tours.
