Wests Tigers playmaker Luke Brooks kicked off his 150th NRL match in awkward fashion as he failed to burst through his own celebration banner and was forced to walk around it.
Leading out the Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium, Brooks triumphantly ran from the tunnel to a huge roar from Tigers fans who were buzzing at their first home game of the season.
As the stadium announcers heralded Brooks' 150th appearance in the NRL, he mad his way down a guard of honour and toward a celebratory banner that had been made to commemorate his milestone.
But what followed somewhat killed the vibe.
As Brooks approached, he struggled to break through, unable to find a hold to rip the material in two.
After a few awkward seconds, the playmaker cut his losses and opted to meander around the banner in somewhat of a lighthearted anti-climax for the club veteran.

Brooks has scored 38 tries across his 149 games for the Tigers, with a win rate of 42 per cent.
