Masha beat HEC to win second game in National Women’s Football Championship

KARACHI: Masha United beat HEC by 4-0 to win their second game in the National Women’s Football Championship here at KMC Stadium on Saturday. 

In Group ‘A’ contest, Masha were on song with their players counter-attacking the opponent’s goal post. Their Nepalese recruit, Anita KC scored earlier on just the 6th minute to take Masha on top.

Masha remained unbeaten in the first half with 1-0. Samroz Samreena scored in the 58th minute to double the lead followed by Anita’s second and Masha’s third goal in the 78th minute.

Masha’s Another Nepalese player Sara Limbu scored in the 83rd minute to take a 4-0 lead against HEC.

On the other hand, WAPDA outclassed Hazara Quetta Football Academy by 6-0 to win their third match in this event. Shanzay Nazir scored twice whereas Mehnaz Shah, Sanober, Fatima Ansari and Kainat Gul scored a goal each.
