Cricketers urge people to follow SOPs as Pakistan hit by 3rd wave of COVID-19

Lahore: The star cricketers of Pakistan men’s team have requested the people of Pakistan to follow SOPs as the country sounds alarm over ‘third’ COVID-19 wave.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a video featuring bowling coach Waqar Younis, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hafeez, Imam-ul-Haq, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Usman Qadir.

“The third wave of COVID-19 very dangerous. The government of Pakistan has also urged to take precautions and urge people to follow them,” said Waqar.

“COVID-19 is spreading again rapidly. I request you to use mask, hand sanitizers and avoid going to public places,” Sarfaraz said.

“Adopt social distance, protect yourself and your loved ones from this virus,” Hafeez and Shadab stressed the importance of SOPs.
