An American professional wrestler is drawing ire from fellow grapplers and fans alike after a viral video depicts her shoving what appears to be a bloody tampon down an opponent’s throat.
Priscilla Kelly – who wrestled briefly for WWE during last summer’s Mae Young Classic tournament – appears in a video that was shot during the Dec. 30, 2018 event held by Suburban Fight Pro Wrestling in California.
While brawling in the crowd with her opponent, Tuna, Kelly pummeled her enemy with a flurry of punches before getting up and sticking her right hand deep down in her trunks to pull out a bloody tampon.
WARNING: Video is of graphic nature
After some trash talk, Kelly mounts Tuna again, opening her opponent’s mouth to shove the soiled feminine hygiene product in it.
The video made the rounds of the Internet over the weekend, repulsing thousands of people including her fellow professional wrestlers.
“I’m seeing this post of a women’s match that got disgusting … It’s seriously a disgrace,” tweeted former WWE women’s champion Gail Kim.
I’m seeing this post of a women’s match that got disgusting and I’m not gonna repost it Bc it’s seriously a disgrace. Why??? Whoever thought that was a spot that was gonna get a pop and was worth it….. NO. how about telling a story in the ring with your wrestling instead?

WWE legend Road Dogg Brian James is no stranger to controversy, having wrestled during the company’s crude Attitude Era in the late 1990s. Even he was turned off by Kelly’s actions.
“This stuff is the reason why some people despise our industry,” James wrote. “It’s got nothing to do with “taking life seriously” it’s about dignity and personal pride. She obviously has none!”

While most were repulsed by Kelly’s actions, some from the wrestling world came to her defense.
“No need to criticize the kids for trying something different,” said former ECW wrestler Mikey Whipwreck. “I understand you don’t like it. But in my opinion, the most important thing is that nobody got hurt.”
It’s 2019. Nothing is “right” and nothing is “wrong”. If the audience enjoys it and reacts favorably it worked. No need to criticize the kids for trying something different. I understand if you didn’t like it. But in my opinion, the most important thing is that nobody got hurt. https://t.co/e5Sr55DEFH

Former ECW champion Taz said wrestling is all about generating buzz with some controversy.
“That equals getting over [wrestling term for becoming popular],” he said. “You got over, keep kicking a–.”
The business is about drawing, getting buzz along with a strong healthy/safe controversy …that equals getting over. You GOT OVER, keep kicking ass! 👊🏼 https://t.co/6OKJVk3FdE

Kelly weighed in on her controversial actions.
“Hey, guys. Ya know, it’s all fake,” she tweeted. “21+ show with a bar. Can’t take life so serious all the time.”
