showed her team spirit at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday night by giving U.S. women’s soccer star Carli Lloyd a birthday lap dance during her It’s My Party Tour show.
However, on Saturday night, the singer was forced her to pull the plug on her concert as the city was hit by a massive blackout.
The singer had just started the Saturday show when the power outage hit, and fans were immediately evacuated from the venue.
Lopez later took to Instagram to share an emotional message explaining her devastation after the show was scrapped.
“The power is out in NYC and at MSG. Heartbroken to say tonight’s show is cancelled. We will reschedule. Love you all!!! Stay safe!” she captioned the clip.
“We had just started our show. They’re asking everybody to evacuate, very slowly and calmly, and obviously that’s what were going to have to do.”

“Devastated and heartbroken that I can’t perform for all of you tonight. We will make this up to you, I promise! I love you!!” Lopez shared.

Saturday night’s blackout left more than 73,000 New Yorkers without power, according to NBC New York.
Meanwhile, at Friday night’s Madison Square Garden gig, Lopez gave World Cup winning-soccer star Lloyd a birthday lap dance.
J.Lo pulled Lloyd from the audience to the stage and sat her on a chair shaped like a stiletto.
Lopez congratulated Lloyd for her team’s win and then told the athlete, “I’ve got a little present for you. Actually Carli, I got two presents for you.”
The singer then asked her dancers to “take care of Carli and give her a little birthday present?”
Lopez left the stage and two of her female backup dancers gyrated on Lloyd as Jeremih’s 2009 hit Birthday Sex played in the background.

The headliner then returned to the stage and sat on the soccer star’s lap, moving suggestively as she sang a slowed-down version of If You Had My Love.
Lloyd turns 37 on Tuesday.
