Jay-Z is reportedly set to become the part-owner of a team in America’s National Football League.

It was announced on Tuesday that the rap mogul will serve as the NFL’s new “live music entertainment strategist” as part of the new deal.

According to TMZ, the 49-year-old — real name Shawn Carter — is going to have “significant ownership interest” in an NFL team in the near future.

Jay-Z, whose wife Beyonce headlined the famous NFL Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and performed again in 2016, already has previous experience of owning a sports team, as he was a minority owner of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, but sold his stake back in 2013.
