New Zealand Warriors signing Euan Aitken is set to miss more than half of the NRL season after injuring his left ankle on his club debut on Saturday.
The former Dragon injured his ankle during the Warriors' 19-6 victory over the Gold Coast Titans at Central Coast Stadium.
The Warriors announced in a statement that Aitken would have surgery this week after suffering a high ankle sprain and be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.
