Sohail Tanvir tests positive for COVID-19

Karachi: Veteran Pakistani pacer Sohail Tanvir has tested positive for coronavirus after arriving in Sri Lanka to participate in the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).

The 35-year-old is part of the Kandy Tuskers squad and is the second overseas player from the franchise to test positive for the virus. He will now undergo an isolation period for 10 days

Tanvir was signed by Kandy a few days ago after Wahab Riaz and Liam Plunkett pulled out of the tournament. He recently played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five playoffs for Multan Sultans.
