Karachi: Hard-hitting opening batsman Sharjeel Khan has credited fans and Karachi Kings’ family as he returns to the Pakistan team after four years.
The 31-year-old Sharjeel was named to the T20I squad for the tours of South Africa and Zimbabwe. He is confident of performing well for the national team.
“As you know, I have made a comeback in the Pakistan team, I want to thank my fans, Karachi Kings players and the management for supporting me,” said Sharjeel in a video released by Karachi Kings’ YouTube channel.
“I will try to continue performing like this in the future as well. Please keep supporting me and remember me in your prayers,” he added.
Meanwhile, emerging pacer Arshad Iqbal also thanked Kings’ family as he received his maiden call-up for the national T20I side.
“I am very happy after being named in Pakistan T20I squad. This is all because of my fans and special thanks to them and Karachi Kings,” he said.
