Karachi: Defending champions Army, JAFA Soccer Academy, Diya WFC and Highlanders WFC once again win their matches convincingly on Day four of 2021 National Women’s Football Championship.
A number of 46 goals were scored across four matches. Army defeated Young Rising Stars Layyah by 15-0 where Hajra Khan and Swaiba Sarfraz scored hat-tricks. Aliza Sabir and Rameen netted two goals in the Group ‘C’ match at the KPT Stadium.
In another Group ‘C’ match, JAFA Soccer Academy’s Sara Abdul Majeed five goals in a stellar performance helped her team beat FC Karachi 1-8 at the KMC Stadium. Fatima, Kiran Fatima and Marwa scored the remaining three goals for JAFA.
The goals galore continued in Group ‘D’ matches. Diya WFC registered a 15-0 win against MUK FC at the KPT Stadium. Shumaila and Marium Zehri were the highest scorers for the winners with four goals each while Rabia Javed contributed with a hat-trick.
In the other match of the group, Highlanders WFC won 8-0 against Mohsen Gilani WFC. Nizalia was the pick of the players for the Highlanders with five goals while Asmara Habib chipped in with a brace. The remaining goal was scored by Fariha.
