Indians prefer Rohit Sharma over Virat Kohli as captain

KARACHI: Indian skipper Virat Kohli got into hot waters, firstly due to dropping Rohit Sharma in the first T20I against England and then getting second duck in a row.

Indians criticized their skipper on Twitter after he yet again failed to score runs. This was the first time in Kohli’s 475-inns long international career that he failed to score a run in back-to-back innings.

His fans and cricketer fans took to Twitter to pinpoint his performance and rated opening batsman Sharma highly than him.

It must be noted here that India lost the first T20I against England by eight wickets. They were restricted to 124-7 in 20 overs by the English bowlers.

In the Test series, India beat England by 3-1. Kohli scored 172 runs in six innings at an average of 28.66 with two fifties.
