Karachi: Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin admired Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s batting in a conversation with former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq on his YouTube channel.
According to Ashwin, after so many years a batsman like Babar has appeared in the Pakistani ranks. “Babar Azam looks like a million-dollar player. He recently batted in England and also scored a hundred in Australia.”
“By looking at him play is in itself a treat for the eyes. What do you think about Babar Azam?” Ashwin asked Inzamam.

The former great also appreciated Babar but he believes that he was yet to show his full potential with the bat.
“He is great and a natural stroke player. But his performance does not match the expectations as he needs to perform better,” Inzamam said.
“He has spent five years in international cricket and according to me, batsman starts to bloom after playing international cricket for seven or eight years, so Babar’s peak is yet to come,” Inzamam added.
